It has to be pretty cold for me to put on a hat. I'm going through the time of my life where I'm always warm. Yes, I complain about the cold, but that's only because I truly prefer to run around in a sundress and sandals!! When the temps plummet below freezing (30 degrees farenheit) - then out comes the hats!

Ms. Aikasha is wearing a Perry Ellis dark brown  sheepskin/shearling motor cycle jacket, a sage green sheepskin/shearling aviator hat (designer unknown), Foley & Corinna lime green extra large tote bag............
Ci Sodo green cotton/rayon turtleneck tunic, Cotton Candy black fleece lined leggings, Na Na  gold leather high heel boots
A statement hammered silver and jade necklace, with matching earrings, and an over sized black Lucite bracelet, and green enameled bangle were the accessories

Ms. Aikasha is wearing an American Apparel green cotton/spandex knit turtleneck long sleeved dress, Flavio Castellini  chunky black wool "tailed" shrug........

Via Spiga tall black leather high heel boots, Pelle & Coure black and blue leather handbag, Coach  black leather gloves

The over sized green/purple Lucite bangle, natural turquoise necklace and cascading blue/green/gold earrings finished off this savvy and winter ready outfit

Now you see what I meant by "tail"!!

70 degrees - Sunday December 22, 2013

Every now and then, there's a 'glitch' in the scheme of things and something odd happens.
Case in point - the weather last Sunday Dec 22nd 2013. The middle of Winter and the temperature was 70 degrees!! It was Absolutely Amazing!! I Love that!!
Ms. Aikasha is wearing an Uniqlo red merino wool v-neck long sleeved sweater, Katherine Hammnet silver/grey/red snake print pencil skirt. Valentino large red leather "Nella" handbag, B. Brian Atwood silver/grey glitter peep-toe ankle wrap booties.....
large red wooden rectangular earrings, Aldo silver tone cat eye sunglasses and a very unique red/beige checkerboard/blue grey giraffe print wool scarf (a gift from the boss's wife) accessorized the mostly red outfit.
I'm such a sucker for peep-toe booties. A lot of folks think they are impractical. I, however, absolutely love them!! Plus - they give the perfect excuse to keep feet manicured during the winter months when we mostly hide underneath oversize sweaters, sweat socks & boots, and bulky coats/jackets, hats & scarves.

Last night (Fri Dec 13th) was our Annual Holiday Party. It was on a much smaller scale than usual, but still a lot of fun. I drank Moet all night and woke up this morning feeling just fine - the good stuff makes all the difference!!
Ms. Aikasha is wearing a Tart long black rayon knit v-neck long sleeved dress with high thigh slit, B. Brian Atwood  pewter leather sandals with metal chain tassels,
The Adia Kibur necklace was the statement piece of the evening (a gift from my daughter Aziza). The chain links on the necklace tied in so nicely with the chain link tassel on the B. Brian Atwood sandals. Rose tone pearl stud earrings, a solo large silver hoop (my signature), and Swiss Legend white porcelain watch finished off this simply elegant outfit

...........with my daughter's Z

Tip: It's nice to spruce up the drab tones of Fall/Winter with a Splash of colour - hence all the red!!
