I'm still rushing to post my cold weather outfits............almost done!!

 Tip: It’s time to put away the winter coats – even though temperatures are peaking….then plummeting. A heavy winter coat just looks a bit overdone this time of year. Pull out a lightweight coat a layer over a cardigan/hoodie. You can always just “peel off” the layers if you’re too warm.

As stated over and over, orange is my absolute favorite colour!

Ahhhh! Finally - sunshine!! It's been two weeks since the first day of Spring and I must say it’s been unseasonably chilly. I still have a few pictures from the cooler days that I've not had a chance to feature so before I 'break out' the sun dresses and the sandals, I thought it best to post them (right quick!!) J

I bought these lavender Gucci  shearling mittens a while back and had the epiphany to make this coat and use lavender silk lining. So I did! Ms. Aikasha is wearing an original Ms. Aikasha  black wool hooded maxi coat.......

I made this outfit more than a decade ago. The fabric is Armani 100% wool jersey knit - a pleasure to sew and even more of a pleasure to wear!

Not one winter has passed that I haven't worn this set since I made it

Tip: To avoid looking overly bulky in the winter/cooler temps, I find it doesn't hurt to leave the scarf at home when wearing a turtleneck or cowl neck dress/sweater/top. The end result is a far more 'streamlined', refined look - and we like that :)
