Spumoni!
This Italian guy walked up behind me and said, "You look like Spumoni........that"s a compliment!" Ok - I love getting compliments - but what was that??
Note: My 17 year old son (and photographer) keeps getting taller (he’s 6’ 3” and counting). He out grew these bright blue jeans – so I took them!!
Since my colours were a tad bit brighter than usual for this time of year, I tried to 'ground' it a bit with the black gloves/booties/earthy brown bag. I don't really think it really worked though.....but its not horrible?!?

He said spumoni because it's a frozen italian dessert that is pink, green and brown (strawberry or cherry, pistachio and chocolate) ice cream molded together and served cold of course. I was gonna say you looked like sherbet. But it looks good. I always think it's nice to have some color during the winter. I particular love bright florals. The black is a little harsh. If you do pastels in the cold, own it. Silver or light Gray is a good combination with pastels. It's muted yet frosty looking. That would have definitely winterized your bright colors.
ReplyDeleteNice to hear from you Aziza. I feel informed, educated and inspired - all at once! I'm in total agreement with you regarding silver or light grey....and I have beautiful grey suede boots....next time!
